Padilla takes larger role at Marquette after Stofer's death

Ed Padilla has been given a larger share of the responsibility for leading the real estate company owned by the Pohlad Family in the wake of Boyd Stofer's recent death. Stofer, who was president and CEO of Bloomington-based Marquette Real Estate Group, died suddenly Nov. 29, Initially, Marquette Real Estate Group said each of four division heads would continue in their current roles and report directly to Bert Colianni, CEO of Pohlad Family Cos., which also owns the Minnesota Twins.
